II. Superfine paper will be used for some copies, which will b charged at one dollar and fifty cents per annum, payable on the de livery of the seventh Number.

III. On good paper the work will be afforded at one dollar per an num, to be paid in advance, or twenty-five cents will be added, and payment expected on the delivery of the seventh Number.

IV. No subscription will be received for a less term than one year, beginning with the January Number, and subscribers will be consid ered as desiring the work till other information is given to our agents, and we must consider them obliged to take it the succeeding year, unless notice is given by the first of December.

V. Any person who will become accountable for six copies, shall be entitled to the seventh.

VI. The Benevolent who take several copies for gratuitous distri bution, as numbers do, will be allowed twenty-five per cent discount.

Ministers and others who favour the design of this Publication, are respectfully desired to introduce it to notice, and obtain patron age for it. Gentlemen receiving this Prospectus are requested to engage some active young man to obtain subscribers for it in their immediate vicinity. There being little of passing intelligence in it those who have not before perused the back Numbers will find them as interesting in October as in March. Those who take both the first and second volumes of the work, will receive an elegant copper-plate engraving in the second volume.

To use this Prospectus for subscriptions, let writing paper be attached to it, and let it be returned to Mr. S. T. Armstrong, Boston.
