5 Y si alguno les quisiere dañar, saldrá fuego de la boca de ellos, y tragará sus enemigos, y si alguno les quisiera hacer daño, es necesario que tambien él sea muerto. 6 Estos tienen poder de cerrar el cielo, que no llueva en los dias de su profecía, y tienen poder sobre las aguas para convertirlas en sangre, y para herir la tierra toda suerte de plagas siempre que quisieren.

7 Y cuando ellos hubieron acabado su testimonio, la bestia que sube del abismo, hará guerra contra ellos, y los vencerá, y los matará.

8 Y sus cuerpos serán echados en la plaza de la gran ciudad, que espiritualmente es llamada Sodoma, y Egipto, donde el Señor nuestro fué tambien crucificado.

9 Y los de las tribus, y pueblos, y lenguas, y naciones veran los cuerpos de ellos por tres dias y medio, y no permitirán que sus cuerpos sean puestos en sepulcros.

10 Y los moradores de la tierra se gozarán sobre ellos, y se alegrarán, y se enviarán presentes los unos á los otros, porque estos dos profetas han atormentado á los que moran sobre la tierra.

11 Y despues de tres dias y medio, entró en ellos el espíritu de vida enviado de Dios. Y se alzaron sobre sus pies, y vinó grande temor sobre los que los vieron.

12 Y oyeron una grande voz del cielo, que les decía: subid acá. Y subieron al ciclo en una nube y los vieron sus enemigos.

13 Y en aquella hora fué hecho un grande temblor de tierra, y la decima parte de la ciudad cayó, y fueron muertos en el terremoto los nombres de siete mil hombres, y los demas fueron atemorizados, y dieron gloria ál Dios del cielo.

5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

11 And after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

14 Y se pasó el segundo ay, y he aquí que el tercer ay vendrá pronto. 15 Y el septimo ángel tocó la trompeta, y hubó grandes voces en el cielo que decían: Los reynos de este mundo han venido á ser de Nuestro Señor, y de su Christo, y él reynará por los siglos de los siglos.

16 Y los veinte y cuatro ancianos, que estaban sentados delante de Dios en sus tronos, se postraron sobre sus rostros, y adoraron á Dios, 17 Diciendo: Gracias te damos, Señor Dios Todopoderoso, que eres, eras, y has de venir, porque has tomado en mano tu gran poder, y has reynado.

18 Y las naciones se han airado, y ha venido tu ira, y el tiempo de ser juzgados los muertos, y de dar el galardon á tus siervos los Profetas y á los Santos, y á los que temen tu nombre, á los pequeñitos, y á los grandes, y de destruir á los que destruyen la tierra.

19 Y el templo de Dios fué abierto en el cielo, y el arca de su testamento fué vista en su templo, y fueron hechos relámpagos, y voces, y truenos, y un terremoto, y grande granizo.

CAPITULO XII.

UNA grande señal apareció

14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly. 15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ ; and he shall reign for ever and

ever.

16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.

19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

CHAPTER XII.

da del sol, y la luna debajo de sus pies, y sobre su cabeza una corona de doce estrellas.

2 Y estando preñada, clamaba con dolores de parto, y sufría dolores por parir.

3 Y fué vista otra señal en el cielo, y he aquí un grande dragon bermejo, que tenia siete cabezas, y diez cuernos, y en sus cabezas siete diademas.

4 Y su cola arrastraba la tercera parte de las estrellas del cielo, y las hizó caer sobre la tierra, y el

wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon

dragon se paró delante de la muger, que estaba de parto, para tragarse á su hijo luego que le hubiere parido.

5 Y ella parió un hijo varon, que había de regir todas las gentes con vara de hierro, y su hijo fué arrebatado para Dios, y para su trono.

6 Y la muger huyó al desierto, en donde tenía un lugar preparado de Dios, paraque allí la alimentasen por espacio de mil doscientos y sesenta dias.

7 Y hubó una gran batalla en el cielo: Miguel y sus ángeles lidiaban con el dragon, y el dragon lidiaba, y sus ángeles.

8 Mas no prevalecieron, ni su lugar fué mas hallado en el cielo.

9 Y fué lanzado fuera aquel grande dragon, que es la serpiente antigua, llamada Diablo, y Satanás, que engaña á todo el mundo, y fué arrojado en la tierra, y sus ángeles fueron lanzados con él.

10 Y oí una gran voz del cielo, que decía: Ahora ha llegado la salvacion, y fortaleza, y el reyno de nuestro Dios, y el poder de su Christo, porque el acusador de nuestros hermanos, que los acusaba delante de Dios dia y noche, es derribado.

11 Y ellos le han vencido por medio de la sangre del Cordero, y por la palabra de su testimonio, y no han amado sus vidas hasta la muerte.

12 Por lo cual regocijaos ó cielos, y los que morais en ellos. Ay de los moradores de la tierra, y de la mar, porque el diablo descendió á vosotros con grande ira, sabiendo que tiene poco tiempo.

13 Y cuando el dragon vió que había sido derribado en tierra, persiguió á la muger que había parido el hijo varon.

14 Y fueron dadas á la muger

stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

7 And there was war in heav en: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in

heaven.

9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14 And to the woman were given

15 Y la serpiente arrojó de su boca agua como un rio detras de la muger, paraque fuese arrebatada de la corriente.

16 Mas la tierra ayudó á la muger, y la tierra abrió su boca, y sorbió el rio, que el dragon había echado de su boca.

17 Entonces el dragon se airó contra la muger, y se fué á hacer guerra contra los otros de la simiente de ella, que guardan los mandamientos de Dios, y tienen el testimonio de Jesu-Christo.

CAPITULO XIII.

YO me paré sobre la arena del mar, y vi salir de la mar una bestia, que tenía siete cabezas, y diez cuernos, y sobre sus cuernos diez coronas, y sobre sus cabezas el nombre de blasfemia.

2 Y la bestia que ví era semejante á un leopardo, y sus pies como pies de oso, y su boca como boca de leon. Y el dragon la dió su poder, y su trono, y grande autoridad.

3 Y ví una de sus cabezas como herida de muerte, y su mortal herida fué curada, y todo el mundo estaba maravillado en pos de la bestia.

4 Y adoraron al dragon que había dado poder á la bestia, y adoraron á la bestia, diciendo: ¿quién hay semejante á la bestia? y ¿quién podrá lidiar con ella?

5 Y le fué dada boca con la que hablaba grandes cosas, y blasfemias: y le fué dado poder para hacer aquello cuarenta y dos meses.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood. 16 And the earth helped the wo man; and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

CHAPTER XIII.

ND I stood upon the sand of

the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

6 Y abrió su boca en blasfemias contra Dios para blasfemar su nombre, y su tabernáculo, y los que moran en el cielo.

7 Y le fué dado hacer guerra á los Santos, y vencerlos: tambien le fué dado poder sobre toda tribu y lengua, y nacion.

8 Y le adoraron todos los moradores de la tierra; aquellos cuyos nombres no estan escritos en el libro de la vida del Cordero, que fué muerto desde la fundacion del mundo.

9 Si alguno tiene oreja, oyga,

10 El que lleva á cautiverio, cautivo irá. El que á espada matare, á espada morirá. Aquí está la paciencia y fé de los Santos.

11 Despues ví otra bestia que subía de la tierra, y tenía dos cuernos semejantes á los del cordero, mas hablaba como el dragon.

12 Y egercía todo el poder de la primera bestia en su presencia, y hacía que la tierra, y los moradores de ella adorasen á la primera bestia, cuya herida mortal fué curada.

13 E hizó grandes maravillas de manera que hásta fuego del cielo hizó descender á la tierra, á vista de los hombres.

14 Y engañó á los moradores de la tierra por medio de aquellos prodigios, que le fueron dados hacer en presencia de la bestia, diciendo á los moradores de la tierra que hagan la imagen de la bestia, que tiene la herida de espada, y vivió.

15 Y le fué dado que comunicase espíritu á la imagen de la bestia, y que la imagen de la bestia hable, y hará que todos aquellos que no adoraren la imagen de la bestia,

sean muertos.

16 E hizó que á todos pequeños,

6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain, from the foundation of the world.

9. If any man have an ear, let him hear.

10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

16 And he causeth all, both small
