23 And one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one water out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the LORD:

24 And thou shalt put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his fons; and thalt wave them for a wave-ortering before

the LORD.

25 And thou thalt receive them of their hands, and born them upon the altar for a burnt-offering, for a fweet favour before the LORD: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

20 And thou shalt take the breaft of the ram of Aaron's confecration, and wave it for a wave offering before the LORD: and it fhall be thy part.

27 And thou shalt fanctify the breaft of the wave-offering, and the thoulder of the heaveoffering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the confecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is tor his tons.

28 And it shall be Aaron's and his fons by a ftatute for ever from the children of Ifrael: for it is an heave-offering: and it fhall be an

29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his fons aner him, to be anointed therein, and to be confecrated in them.

31 And thou shalt take the ram of the confecration, and seethe his fleth in the holy place.

32 And Aaron and his fons fhall eat the Beth of the ram, and the bread that is in the baiket, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

33 And they fhall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to confecrate and to fanctify them: but a stranger than not eat thereof, because they are holy.

34 And if aught of the fleth of the confecration, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

35 And thus thalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his fons, according to all things which I have commanded thee: feven days thalt thou confecrate them.

36 And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a fin-ortering or atonement: and thou thalt cleanse the altar, when thou haft made an atonement for it, and thou hali anoint it, to fanctify it.

37 Seven days thou shalt make an stonement for the altar, and fanctify it; and it hall be an altar moft holy: whatsoever toucheth the altar thall be holy.

38 Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.

39 The one lamb thou that offer in the morning; and the other lamb thou shalt oder

40 And with the one lamb a tenth-deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin or beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink-offering.

41 And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even, and fhalt do thereto according to the meat-ontering of the morning, and according to the drink-offering thereof, for a fweet favour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 42 This ball be a continual burnt-offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto thee.

43 And there I will meet with the children of lfrael, and the tabernacle thall be fanctified by my glory.

44 And I will fanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will fanctity alfo both Aaro, and his fons, to minifter to me in the priest's onice.

45¶ And I will dwell among the children of Ifrael, and will be their God.

4 And two golden rings fhalf thou make to it under the crown or it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two fides of it thalt thou make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it withal.

5 And thou shalt make the ftaves of thit. tim-wood, and overlay them with gold.

6 And thou shalt put it before the veil that is by the ark of the teftimony, before the mercy-feat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with thee.

7 And Aaron fhall burn thereon fweet incense every morning: when he dreffeth the lamps, he shall burn incenfe upon it.

8 And when Aaron lighteth the lamps a even, he shall burn incenfe upon it, a per petual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.

9 Ye shall offer no ftrange incenfe there. on, nor burnt-facrifice, nor meat-offering; neither shall ye pour drink-offering thereon.

10 And Aaron fhall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the fin-offering of atonements: once in the year thall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is mott holy unto the LORD.

15 The rich thall not give mort, and the poor fall sot give less than half a hekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your fouls.

15 and thou shalt take the atonementmoney of the children of Ifrael, and halt appout it for the fervice of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Ifrael before the LORD, to ate an atonement for your fouls.

36 And thou shalt beat fome of it very fmall, and put of it before the teftimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with thee: it thall be unto you moft holy.

37 And as for the perfume which thou fhalt make, ye thall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof; it fhall be unto thee holy for the LORD.

38 Whofoever shall make like unto that, to fmell thereto, thall even be cut off from his people.

CHA P. XXXI.

20 When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minifter, to burn offering made by are unto the LORD:

21 So they hall wash their hands and their fect, that they die not: and it shall be a ftatute for ever to them, even to him and to his feed throughout their generations.

22 Moreover, the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying.

23 Take thon alfo unto thee principal fpices, of pure myrrh five hundred jrekels, and of feet cinnamon half fo much, even two hundred and fifty hekels, and of fweet calamus two hundred and fifty bekels,

24 And o: calia five hundred bekels, after the thekel of the sanctuary, and or oil-olive an bin:

25 And thou shalt make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound atter the art of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.

26 And thou shalt anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony,

27 And the table and all his veffels, and the candlestick and his veffels, and the altar of incenfe,

28 And the altar of burnt-offering with all his veffels, and the laver and his foot.

29 And thou shalt fanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever toucheth them hall be holy.

30 And thou thalt auoint Aaron and his fons, and confecrate them, that they may minifter unto me in the priest's office.

31 And thou fhaft fpeak unto the children of Ifrael, faying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.

32 Upon man's flesh thall it not be poured, neither hall ye make any other like it, after the compofition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.

3. And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wifdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of work. manship,

5 And in cutting of ftones, to fet them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.

6 And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the fon of Ahitamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wife. hearted I have put wifdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;

7 The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the teftimony, and the mercy. feat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,

8 And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incenfe,

9 And the altar of burnt-offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,

10 And the clothes of fervice, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his fons, to minifter in the priest's office.

11 And the anointing oil, and fweet incenfe for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded thee fhallt ey do.

12 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, fay. ing,

13 Speak thou alfo unto the children of Ifrael, faying, Verily my fabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a fign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth fanctify you.

14 Ye fhall keep the fabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that denleth it fhail farely be put to death: for whotoever doeth any work therein, that foul fhall be cut off from among his people.

15 Six days may work be done; but in the feventh is the fabbath of reft, holy to the

Lord:

LORD: Whofoever doeth any work in the fabbath-day, he shall furely be put to death.

16 Wheretore the children of Ifrael fhall keep the fabbath, to obferve the fabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.

17 It is a fign between me and the children of Ifrael or ever: 1or in fix days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the feventh day he reited, and was refreshed.

18 And he gave unto Mofes, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of teftimony, tables of tone, written with the finger of God. CHAP. XXXII.

4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, arter he had made it a molten calf; and they faid, Thefe be thy gods, O Ifrael, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

5 And when Aaron faw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and faid, To-morrow is a teaft to the LORD.

6 And they rofe up early on the morrow, and offered burnt-offerings, and brought peace-offerings; and the people fat down to eat and to drink, and rofe up to play.

7 And the LORD faid unto Moles, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughteft out of the land or Egypt, have corrupted themselves:

8 They have turned afide quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have facrificed thereunto, and faid, Thefe be thy gods, 0 lfrael, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

9 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, I have feen this people, and, behold, it is a fiff necked people:

10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot againft them, and that I may contume them: and I will make of thee a great nation.

11 And Moles befought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why doth thy wrath wax hot agaft thy people, which thou haft brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?

12 here ore thould the Egyptians fpeak, and ay, or ifchiet did he bring them out to lay them in the mountains, and to confume them from the face of the earth? Turn from thy fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against thy people.

19 And it came to pafs, as foon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he faw the cali,and the dancing: and Mofes's anger wax ed hot, and he caft the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.

20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground ze to powder, and frewed it upon the water, and made the children of Ifrael drink of it.

21 And Mofes faid unto Aaron, What did this people unto thee, that thou haft brought fo great a fin upon them?

22 And Aaron faid, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: thou knoweft the people, that they are fet on mifchief.

23 For they faid unto me, Make us gods, which fhall go before us: for as for this Mofes, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.

24 And 1 faid unto them, Whosoever hath
any gold, let them break it off. So they gave
it me: then I caft it into the fire, and there
came out this calf.

2 And when Mofes faw that the people
were naked; (for Aaron had made them ha

30 And it came to pafs on the morrow, that Mofes faid unto the people, Ye have finned a great fin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; peradventure I thall make an atonement for your fin.

31 And Mofes returned unto the Lorn, and faid, Oh, this people have finned a great fin, 34 Yet and have made them gods of gold.

AND the LORD faid unto Mofes, Depart,

go up hence, thou and the people wish thou haft brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I fware unto Abraham, to Ifaac, and to Jacob, faying, Ento thy feed wall I give it :

2 And1 will fend an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebufite:

3 Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiff-necked people: left I confume thee in the way.

4 And when the people heard thefe evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put op him his ornaments.

5 For the LORD had faid nato Mofes, Say 'unto the children of Ifracl, Ye are a ftif. necked people: 1 will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and onfume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments irom thee, that I may know what to do unto thee. 6 And the children of Ifrael ftripped themfelves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb,

7 And Mofes took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, atar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the Congregation. And it came to pass, the every one which fought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

8 And it came to pais, when Mofes went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people role ut, and food every man at his tent. door, and looked atter Moles, until he was gone into the tabernacle.

9 And it came to país, as Mofes entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar de,fcended, and flood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moles.

10 And all the people faw the cloudy pil. lar ftand at the tabernacle-door: and all the

people rofe up and worshipped, every man in his tent-door.

11 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes face to race, as a man fpeaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his fervant Jofua, the fon o sun, a young man, departe not out of the tabernacle.

iz And Mofes faid unto the LORD, See, thou ayeft unto me. Bring up this people and thou haft not let me know whom thou wik fend with me. Yet thou haft faid, I know thee by name, and thou haft alfo found grace in my fight.

13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have

14 And he laid, My prefence fhall go with thee, and I will give (nee reft.

15 And he faid unto him, If thy prefence go not with me, carry us not up hence.

16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy fight? Is it not in that thou goeft with us? So thall we be feparated, I and thy peo ple, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

17 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, I will do this thing also that thou haft spoken: for thou haft round grace in my fight, and I

know thee by name.

18 And he faid, I beseech thee, fhew me thy glory.

19 And he faid, I will make all my good. nefs pafs before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will thew mercy on whom I will thew mercy.

20 And he faid, Thou canst not fee my face: for there fhall no man fee me, and live.

21 And the LORD faid, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

22 And it fhall come to pafs, while my glo. ry paifeth by, that I will put thee in a cleft of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I país by:

23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt fee my back parts: but my face fhall not be seen.

CHAP. XXXIV.

1 The tables are renewed. 5 The name of the LORD proclaimed. 10 Gɔd maketh a covenant with them.

ND the LORD faid onto Mofes, Hew

Athee two tables of ftone like unto the

firit: and I will write upon thefe tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakeft.

2 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sina., and present thy felt there to me in the top of the mount.

3 Ani no man fhall come up with thee, neither let any man be feen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.

4 And he hewed two tables of ftone like unto the first; and Mofes rofe up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded m, and took in his hand the two Lubles of ftone.

5. And the LORD de cen led in the cloud, and flood with him there, and proclaimed

the name of the LORD.

6 And the LORD paffed by betore him, and proclamed, The Logn, The Loan God, merciful and gracious, long-furlering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

7 Keeping mergy for thousands, torgiving infquity and tranfgrefton and fin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the niquity of the lathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation,

8 And Mofes made hafte, and howed his head toward the earth and worthipped.

God's covenant.

Of the fabbath, 28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither ea bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upora the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

EXODUS. 9 And he faid, If now I have found grace In thy fight, O LORD, let my Lord, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a fun-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our fin, and cake us for chine inheritance.

TC And he faid, Behold, I make a covenari: before all thy people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which thou art thall fee the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.

12 Take heed to thyfelf, left thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land whither thou goett, left it be for a fare in the midft of thee:

13 But ye thall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves : 14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

15 Left thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whop ing after their gods, and do facrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his facrifice;

16 And thou take of their daughters unto thy fons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy fons go a whoring after their gods.

17 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods. 18 The feaft of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thalt thou eat unleavened bread, as I comman led thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou cameft out from Egypt.

19 All that openeth the matrix is mine and every firftling among thy cattle, whether ox or theep, that is male.

20 But the firftling of an afs thou shalt redeem with a lamb : and it thou redeem him not, then fhalt thou break his neck. All the Gratborn of thy fons thou shalt redeem. And none that appear berore me empty.

21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the feventh day thou shalt reft: in earing-time

and in harveft thou shalt rest.

22 And thou shalt observe the feaft of weeks, of the firit-truits of wheat-harvest, and the reaft o: in-gathering at the year's end.

23 Thrice in the year thall all your menchildren appear before the LORD God, the God of Ifrael.

24 For I will caft out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man defire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.

25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my facrifice with leaven; neither thall the facrifice of the feaft of the passover be left unto the morning.

26 The firit of the firft-fruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not feethe a kid in his mother's milk.

27 And the LORD faid unto Mofes, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of thefe words I have made a covenant with thee and with Ifrael.

29 And it came to pafs, when Mofes conie down from mount Sinai with the two tables or teftimony in Mofes's hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moles wift not that the ikin of his face fhone while he talked with him.

30 And when Aaron and all the children of Ifrael faw Mofes, behold, the ikin of his face fhone; and they were atraid to come nigh him.

31 And Mofes called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him; and Mo es talked with them.

32 And a:terward all the children of liraet came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.

33 And till Mofes had done fpeaking with them, he put a veil on his tace.

34 But when Moles went in before the LORD to fpeak with him, he took the veil off, until he came out And he came out, and spake unto the children of Ifrael that which he was commanded.

35 And the children of Ifracl faw the face of Mofes, that the skin of Mofes's face thone: and Mofes put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him. CHAP. XXXV.

AND Mofes gathered all the congregation

of the children of Ifrael together, and faid unto them, Thefe are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that y fhould do them.

2 Six days thall work be done, but on the feventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a fabbath or reft to the LORD: whofg ever doeth work therein shall be put to death. 3 Ye thall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the fabbath-day.

4 And Mofes fpake unto all the congre. gation of the children of Ifrael, faying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, faying,

5 Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brafs,

6 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

7 And rams' kins died red, and badgers' fkins, and fhittim-wood,

8 And oil for the light, and fpices for a nointing oil, and for the fweet incenfe, 19 And onyx-ftones, and ftones to be fet for the ephod, and for the breast-plate.

10 And every wife-hearted among you fhall come, and make all that the LORD hath com manded;

11 The tabernacle, his tent, and his co vering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his tockets,

12 The ark and the ftaves thereof, with the mercy-feat, and the veil of the covering, 13 The table, and his ftaves, and all his veffels, and the fhew-bread,

14 The candlestick alfo for the light, and
