APRIL 24.-The Queen has been pleased to constitute the province of New Brunswick to be a Bishop's See, to be called the Bishopric of Frederickton; and to appoint the Rev. JOHN MEDLEY, Doctor in Divinity, to be ordained and consecrated Bishop of the said see. Her Majesty has further been pleased to constitute the island of Ceylon te be a Bishop's See, to be called the Bishopric of Columbo; and to appoint the Rev. JAMES CHAPMAN, Doctor in Divinity, to be ordained and consecrated Bishop of the said see. The Ven. Sir HERBERT OAKLEY, Archdeacon of Colchester, Dean of Bocking, and Prebendary of St. Paul's.
