HIS Small Treatife which is now. come forth, was (I must confefs) in a a great measure extorted from me. The daily papers scarce ever fail to inform us of fomething which is just printed and speedily will be published against Christianity. And it must be confeft, that there are as many Advertisements of books printed and publifhed in the defence of it; and this perhaps you will fay leaves no room for me to make one of the number; and in answer to it, I can as readily reply, that no one can be assured of this, at least, till he has fome knowledge of what I have to say upon this fubject. But were I to speak my own opinion, there are too many reafons which engages me to it, and more than I care to mention at prefent; however the following will, I prefume, be fully fuffi cient.
