HIS Small Treatise which is now come forth, was (I must confess) in a T a great measure extorted from me. The daily papers scarce ever fail to inform us of sometbing which is just printed and speedily will be publised against Christianity. And it must be confeft, that there are as many Advertisements of books printed and published in the defence of it; and this perhaps you will say leaves no room for me to make one of the number ; and in answer to it, I can as readily reply, that no one can be assured of this, at least, till he has some knowledge of what I have to say upon this subje£t.
