ADVERTISEMENT TO SUBSCRIBERS.

THIS work, as has been stated in the prospectus already issued, will form five volumes in quarto, handsomely printed on fine wove demy paper.

The proprietor having, in his original proposal, announced the price at a guinea and a half per volume, is willing to adhere to that price to the present subscribers, and to such others as may honour him with their names previously to the publication of the second volume; notwithstanding the work has been extended, by the incorporation of new and important materials, very much beyond the intended bulk: but he begs leave to observe, that the price must unavoidably be considerably raised after the publication of the second volume.

The second volume, which is now in the press, will be delivered to the subscribers in August next; and the remaining volumes at quarterly periods, or with as much dispatch as may be consistent with the importance of the publication.
