The fate of some programs is therefore in doubt. Federal programs specifically geared to corrections and criminal ustice were not exempt from the budget cut recommendations, making the dentification of other sources of federal assistance even more critical. e therefore would encourage you to explore those programs that appear elevant to your needs. A second directory that identifies non-federal resources available to he field has also been developed and will soon be released. It is our ope that these directories will facilitate access to resources that may therwise remain untapped by corrections. Allew F. Breed Allen F.
