In today's world of sinfulness and godlessness, we are in desperate need of returning to traditional values and morals. "The greatest want of the world is the want of men--men who will not be bought or sold, men who in their inmost souls are true and honest, men who do not fear to call sin by its right name, men whose conscience is as true to duty as the needle to the pole, men who will stand for the right though the heavens fall." Education, 57

Dare to Be a Daniel is a compilation of Ellen G. White's writings that expounds upon the life of this biblical hero, showing the lessons that can be learned from Daniel as he strove to honor and serve God every moment of every day. This collection of quotes is taken from a series on the life of Daniel in The Youth's Instructor, along with complimenting excerpts from The Review and Herald, The Signs of the Times, and Patriarchs and Prophets.

Over de auteur (2019)

Ellen Gould Harmon White, born Ellen Harmon in 1827, is one of the founders of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She was believed by some within the Church to be a prophetess, and White herself claimed that she was the messenger of the Lord. White's writings, which includes books, articles and essays, often related to her many visions, total over 100,000 pages. Many of her writings are of interest primarily to Adventists and religious readers, but her Conflict of the Ages Series is of mass appeal. White died on July 16, 1915.
