His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, and his Serene Highnels the hereditary prince of Brunswick, and the Rt Hon. the Earl of Albemarle, were invefted by his Majesty with the most noble Order of the Garter.

A forged draught under the fignature of Sir Joshua Van Neck and Co. for 4500 payable to theHonTbo.Walpole, Efq; lately paffed at the Bank, and what is remarkable, the notes for which the faid draught was firft exchanged B were all brought to the Bauk. and the cash received for them, before the faid forgery was difcovered. Five hundred pounds reward is offered by the Bank for the difcovery of the forger, or his accomplice.

The celebrated M. Rouffecu, is now fettled at Berlin in a weak condition. His majefty received him with great marks of tenderness and affection, affuring him of his protection C against the effects of the intemperate zeal of the bigots either of popery or puritanism.
