THE SINNER ENCOURAGED TO REPENTANCE*.

ST. MATTHEW XXV. 36.

I was in Prison, and ye came unto me.

THE office, which I have at this time, taken upon me, I hope, prisoners, you will consider as the effect of sincere compassion towards you, in your present unhappy situation. I am now come in the name of your truest and best friends, to declare to you how sincerely we feel for your sufferings; how desirous we are to contribute
