Ellet Joseph Waggoner (1855-1916) abandoned a lucrative career as a diploma-qualifed physician to pursue full-time his vision of Christ crucified as the basic theme of all the bible. He became obsessed with the gospel, as college teacher, editor, lecturer, missionary, and author, he inspired thousands in his day. Author of The Glad Tidings, The Gospel In Galatians, Christ and His Righteousness, Bible Studies on the Book of Romans, and Waggoner on Romans.
