a. The Lord gave the Word, great was the Company of those that Published it.

b. Thus was the Church of the Living God established, which is the Pillar and Ground of the Truth: The Church that was built by Christ, upon a Rock; and the Gates of Hell fhall not prevail against it.

c. I know that my Redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter Day upon the Earth: And tho, after my Skin Worms destroy this Body, yet in my Flefh fhall I fee God.

d. The fame Jefus, who was taken up from his Difciples into Heaven, fhall fo come, in like manner, as he was feen by them to go into Heaven. And he fhall judge the Quick, and the Dead, at his Appearing.

e. God hath appointed a Day in the which he will judge the World in Righteousness, by that Man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given Affurance unto all Men, in that he hath raised him from the Dead.

f. We must all appear before the Judgment Seat of Chrift; that every one may receive the things done in his Body, according to that he

hath done, whether it be good or bad; in the Day when God fhall judge the Secrets of Men, by Jefus Chrift, according to his Gospel.

a. Then fhall the Son of Man come in his Glory, and all the Holy Angels with him. The Lord himself fhall defcend from Heaven, with a Shout, with the Voice of the Arch-angel, and with the Trump of God: And before him shall be gathered all Nations.

b. Behold, he cometh with Clouds, and every Eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him; and all Kindreds of the Earth shall wail because of him..

c. All that are in the Graves fhall hear his Voice, and fhall come forth. And the Dead, both fmall and great, fball ftand before God; and the Books fhall be opened, and the Dead fhall be judged, out of those things which are written in the Books, according to their Works.

d. As Christ hath once appeared, to put away Sin by the Sacrifice of himself; fo unto them that look for him fhall he appear, the fecond time, without Sin, unto Salvation. But, in that Day, fhall thofe that obey not the Gofpet of our Lord Jefus Chrift, be punished with

Everlasting Destruction, from the Prefence of the Lord, and from the Glory of his Power.

a. There fhall come in the last Days Scoffers, walking after their own Lufts, and saying, where is the Promife of his coming? For, fince the Fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the Creaation. But the Day of the Lord will come as a Thief in the Night; in the which, the Heavens, being on fire, fhall be diffolved, and shall pass away with a great Noife; and the Elements fhall melt with fervent Heat: The Earth alfo, and the Works that are therein, shall be burnt up: nevertheless we, according to his Promife, look for New Heavens, and a New Earth, wherein dwelleth Righteousness.

b. This is that glorious appearing of the Great God, and our Saviour Jefus Chrift, which we look for: but of that Day and Hour knoweth no Man, no not the Angels of Heaven, but the Father only.

Gods many, and Lords many) yet to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jefus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him; and one Spirit, by whom, thro' Christ, we have an accefs unto the Father.

a. There are Three that bear record in Heaven, The Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghoft; and these three are one.

b. As the Father fent the Son, fo, when he went away, he fent the Comforter, from the Father, even the Spirit of Truth, which proceedeth from the Father; whom the Father fent in the name of his Son; and who is likewise the Spirit of his Son.

c. All Nations are taught, and Baptized, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

d. Thofe that are called to be Saints are Elect, according to the fore-knowledge of God the Father, through fanctification of the Spirit unto Obedience, and fprinkling of the blood of Jefus Chrift.

e. In Christ we are built together, for an habitation of God, through the Spirit.

b. God, who commanded the Light to fhine out of Darkness, hath now shined in our hearts; and called us out of Darkness into his marvellous Light. For we that before had our understanding darkned, and were alienated from the life of God, through the Ignorance that was in us, have now received the Knowledge of the truth. Unto us it is given to know the Myfteries of the Kingdom of Heaven.

c. Now is made manifeft to all Nations the Mystery, which was kept fecret fince the World began, even the hidden Wisdom of God, which he ordained before the World, unto our Glory, and which none of the Princes of this World knew. For now we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and be in him that is true, even in his Son Jefus Chrift. This is the true God, and Eternal Life.
