I. I. We may, in the firfi: place, obferve a few particulars of his life and death. He was born at Glouee/ier, in December, 1714, and pur to a Grammar School there, when about twelve years old. When he was feventeen he began to be ferioufly religious, and ferved Goo to the beit of his knowledge. About eighteen he removed to the Univerfity, and was admitted at Pembr o/ee College in Oxford. And about a year after, he became acquainted with the Metbodifls (fo called) whom from that time he loved as his own foul.
