THE NATIONAL CONGREGATIONAL COUNCIL, convoked by delegation from the Congregational churches of the United States, in response to letters-missive agreed upon in a consultation of committees at the chapel of the Broadway Tabernacle, in the city of New York, on the seventeenth day of November, A. D. 1864, assembled in the Old South Meeting-house, in the city of Boston, Mass., on Wednesday, 14th June, 1865, at 3 o'clock, P. M., and was called to order by Rev. Andrew L. Stone, D.
