On March 4, 1921, President Harding nominated Mr. Daugherty, of Ohio, as Attorney General, to succeed Mr. Palmer, resigned. The nomination was confirmed by the Senate on the same day and Mr. Daugherty took the oath on March 5. SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES.
