I saw in the night visions, and, bebold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.Dan. vii. 13, 14.

and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King

of Israel.-John i. 49.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.- 1 Cor. xv. 25.

Until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Which in his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords.-1 Tim. vi. 14, 15.

And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.--Rev. xix. 16.

Teacher.

I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.-Deut. xviii. 18. The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn. -Is. lxi. 1. 2.

For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.John xii. 49.

And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the Gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister,

and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

And he began to say unto them, This day is this Scripture fulfilled in your ears.--Luke iv. 15 21.

And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God.-Luke viii. 1.

I sat daily with you teaching in the temple.— Matt. xxvi. 55.

Shepherd.

And I will set up one Shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their Shepherd. -Ezek. xxxiv. 23.

I am the good shep herd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

As the father knoweth me, even so know I the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.

And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear

He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.-Is. xl.

Awake, O sword, against my Shepherd,and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the Shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered.Zech. xiii. 7.

my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.-John x. 14

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant.-Heb. xiii. 20.

For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.-1 Pet. ii. 25.

Intercessor.

He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.Is. liii. 12.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.-Luke xxiii. 34.

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh

And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.-Is. lix. 16.

intercession for us.- Rom. viii. 34.

Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.Heb. vii. 25.

If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.-1 John ii. 1.
