Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy Seed, which is Christ.

That the seed of Abraham (Christ) is to inherit the land of Canaan, which is upon earth, and not in heaven (Gen. 17:8).

And I will give unto thee and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession.

That the promised land extends from the river of Egypt unto the river Euphrates, and is not "beyond the realms of time and space" (Gen. 15:18).

He that loveth not, knoweth not God; for God is love. That the punishment God inflicts for sin is death, and not eternal misery (Rom. 6:23).

The Lord preserveth all them that love Him; but all the wicked will He destroy.
