I have now brought my remarks to a close. I offer this little brochure to the public in the spirit in which I commenced it; I have used the labours. of others to fortify my own position and to recommend my experience; nor have I neglected, by all the means in my power, to verify the faith that is in me with respect to the sanitary influence of the quiet district in which I reside. If I can but lead a few to this haunt of the fair Hygeia, and behold them returning to their homes with invigorated frames and restored health, my largest ambition will be satisfied, and I shall feel fully rewarded for my labours.
