யக அப்பொழுது பராபரனுடைய தூதனொருவன் தூப பீடததின் வலதுபக்கத்திலே நின்று அவனுக்குக் காணப்ப டடான்.

யஉ சகரியா அவனைக்கண்டுகலங்கிப்பயம் அடைந்தான் .

யங தூதன் அவனைநோக்கிச், சகரியாவே, நீபயப்பட வேண்டாம். உன்விண்ணப்பங்கேட்கப்பட்டது. உன்மனை வியாகிய எலிசபேத்து ஒருகுமாரனைப்பெறுவாள். அவனு க்கு இயோவானென்றுபேரிடுவாயாக.

யச அவனாலுனக்குச் சந்தோஷமுங்களிப்புமுண்டாகு ம். அவனுடையபிறப்பைக்குறித்து அநேகர் சந்தோஷப் படுவார்கள.

யரு என்னத்தினாலெனில், அவனபராபர னுக்குமுனபா கப்பெரியவனாயத திராட்ச இரசத்தையும் மதுபானத்தை யுங்குடியாமல் தன்தாயின் வயிற்றிலே பரிசுதத ஆவியினாலே நிரப்பப்பட்டிருப்பான் .

யசு அல்லாமலும் அவன் இஸ்ரவேலசந்ததியாரில் அ நேகரையவர்களுடையதேவனாகிய பராபரனிடத்திற்குத்

திருப்புவான்.

யஎ பிதாக்களுடைய இருதயங்களைப் பிள்ளைகளிடத்திற்கு ங கீழ்ப்படியாதவர்களை நீதிமான்களுடையபுத்திக்குந்திரு ப்பிச, செமமையானசனங்களைப் பராபரனுக்காக எத்த னம்பண்ணும்படிக்கு அவன் எலியாவின் ஆவியையுமபலத் தையுமுடையவனாய் அவருக்குமுன்னே நடப்பானென்றான்.

யஅ அப்பொழுதுசகரியாதேவதூதனை நோக்கி, நான் அதையேதினாலேயறிவேன நான்கிழவனாயிருக்கிறேன என்

உக சகரியாவைக (காணக) காத்திருந்த சனங்கள், அவ ன் தேவாலயத்திலே தாமதிதத்தினாலே ஆசசரியப்பட்டா ர்கள்.

உஉ அவன் வெளியேவநதபொழுது அவர்களோடே பேசத்திராணியில்லாமலிருந்தான். அதனாலேதேவாலயத தில ஒருதரிசனையைக கண்டிருப்பானெனறறிந்தார்கள். அவனும் அவர்களுக்குச் சமிககைகாட்டி ஊமையனாகவி

ருந்தான்.

உங பின்பு அவன் தன்னூழியத்தின் நாடகள நிறைவேறி னபொழுது தன்வீட்டுக்குப்போனான்.

உச அந்தநாட்களுககுபபினபு அவனுடையமனைவியா கிய எலிசபேத்துக்கருப்பந்தரித்து,

உரு சனங்களுக்குள்ளே எனக்குண்டாயிருந்த நிந்தை யை நீக்குமபடிக்குப் பராபரன இந்தநாட்களில் என்னை நோக்கி இப்படியெனக்குச் செய்தாரென்றுசொல்லி, ஐந் து மாதமவரையும் ஒளித்துக்கொண்டாள்.

உசு ஆறாமமாதத்திலே காபிரியேலென்னுந்தூதன்கலி லேயா நாட்டிலுள்ள நாசரேத்தென்னும்பட்டினத்திலே

உஎ தாவீதின் குடும்பத்தானாகிய இயோசேப்பென்னும் நாம்முள்ள புருடனுக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டிருந்த கன்னியா கிய மரியாளென்பவளிடத்திறகுப் பராபரனால் அனுப்ப ப்பட்டு,

உஅ அவளிருக்கிறவீட்டுக்குட் பிரவேசித்துக, கிருபை பெற்றவளே, நீவாழக பராபரன் உன்னுடனேயிருக்கிறார், பெண்களுக்குள்ளே நீ ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவளென்றான்

உகூ அவள் அவனைக்கண்டு, அவனுடைய வார் ததையை க்கேட்டுக் கலங்கி, இந்தவாழ்த்துதல் எப்படிப்பட்டதோ என்றுசிந்தித்தாள்.

ஙய தூதன் அவளுடனேசொனனது, மரியாளே, நீதே வனிடத்திற கிருபைபெற்றபடியினாலே நீபயப்படவேண்

41 And it came to pass, that, when Elis heard the salutation of Mary, the babe leap her womb; and Elisabeth was filled with the Ghost:

42 And she spake out with a loud voice said, Blessed art thou among women, and bl is the fruit of thy womb.

43 And whence is this to me, that the moth my Lord should come to me?
