For all which Benefactions, the Society have returned their Thanks, by the Perfons that reported or paid them, excepting only fuch as came from Perfons unknown, who are hereby defired to accept the Thanks of the Society.

Within the Time firft mentioned, the following Gentlemen have been elected Members of this Corporation: The Right Reverend the Lord Bishop of Lincoln; the Reverend Mr. Gurdon, Rector of St. Edmond the King; the Reverend Mr. Alured Clark, Prebendary of Winchefter; the Reverend Mr. Brock Rand ; Mr. Lewis Thomas; Dr. Anthony Maurice, Profeffor of Divinity at Geneva; Mr. John Cawood, Merchant in Carolina; Mr. Samuel Wragg, Merchant in London.

The Society have this Year appointed the Reverend Mr. Thomas Standard, Miffionary to Brookhaven in Suffolk County, in the Province of New York, with a Salary of fifty Pounds: The Reverend Mr. Blacknall to North Carolina, with the like Salary; and the Reverend Mr.Lewis Fones to St. Helen's in South Carolina, with the fame Salary; and have agreed to supply several other Cures in the Plantations in America, who have earnestly requested the Society to fend them over Minifters of the Church of England to refide among them; and have promised to join with the Society in contributing, according to their feveral Abilities, for the better Support and Maintenance of their Minifters.

Befides the certain Annual Charge of the Society, as Salaries to Miffionaries, Catechifts, and Schoolmafters, which is very confiderable, (as will appear by a Lift thereof at the End of this Account) they have been at a great Expence in the Purchase of Bibles, Common-Prayer Books, and devotional Tracts, to be diftributed by their Miffionaries among their feveral Congregations; and in Gratuities. to Minifters, who have not any fettled Allowance from them, viz.
