Q. What is Religion?

A. The knowledge of God and of ourselves, influencing

the heart and regulating our conduct at all times; as well

in the smallest actions as in the more important affairs of

life.

Q. What is the foundation of all Religion?

A. The belief in a God; for " he that cometh to God

must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them
that diligently seek Him." Heb. xi. 6. By faith, or be-
lief in Christ, we are made partakers of the benefits of
his death and sufferings. True faith must show itself
