With the installation of 5 units in each of the 4 lower Snake River projects and storage capacity of 6 million acre-feet in the Snake River Basin above Clarkston, no appreciable amount of water would be spilled at the lower Snake River projects. With the installation of six units and a hydraulic capacity of 90,000 cubic feet per second, even less storage would be required for complete utilization of the streamflow on the lower Snake River.
