Who is responsible for testing and evaluation of components of the system?

Answer:

The SSC Laboratory is responsible for testing and evaluating the system and its components as part of the installation and commissioning of the SSC accelerator facility.

Answer:

Accelerator component tests have been going on since 1985, as

part of the research and development process, and will continue

until early in 1998. Test emphasis is placed on those
components with the highest impact on accelerator availability.
