D. A. & Co. have agents in England and Germany, by which they are enabled to procure all the standard and valuable works in both countries, which they keep constantly on hand, and offer them for sale at reduced prices. Orders for any works which may be found in the market respectfully solicited.

CRUDEN'S CONCORDANCE TO THE NEW TESTAMENT; to which is prefixed a Memoir of the Author, by W. Youngman-abridged from his large work by the Rev. Wm. Patton. With a portrait. 18mo., beautifully printed, for 75 cts. Very many recommendations have been received as to the execution and correctness of this work. The following we can only find room to add:

We, the undersigned, having examined Cruden's Polymicrian Concordance to the New Testament, take pleasure in recommending it to the Christian public. This little work contains, in a small compass, the chief excellencies of the larger work. Cruden's definitions of important words, and their various significations in different passages, have been generally retained, and it is believed that every verse and sentence in the New Testament can be easily found. This Concordance is worthy a place in every family, and to be possessed by every member of a Bible Class, and by every Sabbath School Teacher.

Rev. Elihu W. Baldwin, Rev. John Woodbridge, Rev. Herman Norton, Rev. John A. Murray, Rev. John M. Krebs, Rev. J. D. Weckham, Rev. H. G. Ludlow, Rev. A. Peters, Rev. E. Cheever, Rev. B. H. Rice, &c., &c.

CRUDEN'S CONCORDANCE: complete in one royal 8vo. volume, for $3 50; in which many thousand errors are corrected from the best American and English editions. This superior edition is published in London, and by us in this country. To show how favorably it has been received in Europe, the following are extracted:

"To every Student of the Bible, and to most Christian families, a Concordance is indispensable, and Cruden is the best beyond comparison."-Methodist Magazine.

"We rejoice to see this exquisitely beautiful edition, which ought to be possessed by every Christian."-Evangelical Magazine.

"Mr. Youngman states the fact, that in the first fifty pages of the best 4to. edition, have been discovered nearly one hundred typographical errors. The publishers of the present edition have adopted every precaution for the attainment of the highest degree of accuracy. It is an interesting and beautiful, and we had almost said surprising, specimen of the typographical art."-Christian Advocate.

The above edition having been published since the Philadelphia edition, it combines all the corrections which could be made in that edition, but which was found to contain many thousand errors more

than any previous one. Ours having been stereotyped in England, its typographical errors corrected by Mr. Youngman, and three different setts of readers well qualified for the task, it is presented to the public with full assurance of its meriting their preference, not only for its superiority of execution, but its cheapness.

DR. DODDRIDGE'S FAMILY EXPOSITOR OF THE NEW TESTAMENT: complete in 1 vol. royal 8vo., with a portrait, for $4 50.

"The Family Expositor needs not our praise. It should find a place,' says a celebrated bibliographer, 'upon the shelf and upon the table of every mansion where the moral duties of a Christian are enjoined. Doddridge's heart was made up of all the kindlier affections of our nature.' As for typographical beauty and general convenience, it is greatly to be preferred to any other edition.”—Congregational Magazine.

DR. ADAM CLARKE'S LIFE, 1 vol. 12mo., cloth, price 37 cts.
"Very interesting and useful work."

BICKERSTETH'S COMPLETE WORKS, 1 vol. 8vo., sheep.
MANUAL OF HISTORY, CHRONOLOGY, AND USEFUL
KNOWLEDGE, 1 vol. 12mo.

THE LIFE OF THE REV. T. T. THOMASON, late_Chap-
lain to the Honorable East India Company, by the Rev. J. Sar-
gent, M. A., Rector of Lavington, author of the Memoir of Henry
Martyn, with whom the Rev. Mr. Thomason labored in India, 1
vol. 12mo., cloth, 75 cents. Speaks of Mrs. Judson, Newell, Bi-
shop Heber, Bishop Middleton, and others in India, in the most
pleasing and interesting manner.

Extract from the American edition of Henry Martyn's Memoirs, by the editor:

"The names of few will be recorded in the annals of India, who have conferred greater benefits upon it than Mr. Thomason; and the Christian philanthropist, when associating in his mind Kurnander, and Swartz, and Brown, and Buchanan, and Martyn, and Heber, the name of Thomason as a no less true friend to the cause of the Redeemer."

This valuable work is highly recommended by many clergymen and literary and religious papers and periodicals, as being "not inferior to the interesting memoir of Henry Martyn by the same author." JONATHAN EDWARDS' WORKS, complete in one volume. D. A. & Co. are stereotyping, in connection with a house in England, the complete works of President Edwards, in 1 vol., royal 8vo., large type, to correspond in size with Doddridge's Works, Gibbon's, Robertson's, and others; but on large and distinct type. It is executed by the best and most correct stereotyper in England, and will be printed on fine paper, the price of which will not probably exceed five dollars.

This work may be expected shortly, its stereotyping having been commenced several months since.

Subscriptions now received by the publishers. Any one becoming responsible for ten copies or more will have a liberal discount made. Orders respectfully solicited.
