and a view of OTSEGO HALL, his late residence at Cooperstown, will be included in the Series.

DARLEY'S COOPER VIGNETTES. A limited number of “Artists' Proofs before letter" have been taken from each of the beautiful Steel Vignettes, engraved from Darley's Designs for the New Illustrated Edition of Cooper's Works. These are issued in folios, each containing eight proofs, and each proof accompanied with a page of letterpress descriptive of the picture, and embellished wit a design on wood. proofs are printed with the utmost care, on India, and backed on the finest French Plate Paper. Each folio is issued in a cover of highly ornamented design, printed in tint.

Folios 1, 2, 3, and 4 are now ready for Subscribers, and the remaining four will follow at intervals of about two months. Price per folio..

SANDERS’ NEW ILLUSTRATED READERS. The Primer, First, Second, and Third Readers, have now and clegant Ilcstrations, and the whole Series is carefully revised and improved.

To cover the increased cost of manufacture, the Publishers are compelled to advance slightly the wholesale prices of these Improved Books, still leaving them much cheaper than corresponding books of the same grade. No change has been made in the reading matter, except to add some pages at the end of the Fourth Reader, so that the books can be used in the same classes with former editions, without any inconvenience.
